Patterns & Patience

Today is Day 40 of quarantine and every evening at 20.00 I am reminded of how much I have to be thankful for when I join my neighbours to applaud the essential workers who are keeping us safe and healthy. The applause is not just for medical teams; it’s for the clerks in the markets, farmers who deliver organic food to my door; police who keep idiots off the street; the pharmacy staff who pass out aspirin and essential medicines and so many more…

I have a home that is beautiful, warm, and a safe space…

I am blessed with friends who know the true meaning of Family…

I am honoured to live in Spain where health care is readily available and free for every citizen, and that the government provides those of us wise enough to move here with the highest-quality and affordable health care.

And finally, I’m grateful to have plenty of paint, paper and canvas, and the wisdom to know that playing with colour brings contentment to my heart and brain. 🦋 https://starstuffglitter.com/covid19-series

“No better way is there to learn to love Nature than to understand Art.

It dignifies every flower of the field.”

Isolation & Solutions

I woke up this morning feeling grateful for the many opportunities that come with quarantine. While there are many challenges, I’m aware of that it is deepening so many connections by providing me with a monastic opportunity, time and space to go within and source new solutions.

This images centers around an open icosahedron, which is the prefered geometric structure of a virus.

I invite you to share my intent: to make Love the virus I share as I use these weeks to refocus, making this a time for restoration and renewal.

Seeds

Find seeds of beauty and plant them in your heart. Nurture them remembering that what grows inside you reaches for the light. When Love sprouts and bears fruit, we discover that what truly benefits one benefits others.

Realationship 6: Healing ourselves, our relationships and the Planet

When all have determined there is sufficient space they must decide if they can make time to build a realationship.

“We know from many studies all around the world that when we give space to nature, she comes back spectacularly,” said Enric Sala, explorer in residence at National Geographic. “And we know that when nature comes back, all the services that nature provides for us come back too.”

The same can be said for each of us as individuals. When we give ourselves time we can re-pattern and heal from all manner of toxicity, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. We can come home to ourselves, and from inside out build realationships based on shared values, health, and wholeness.
