MY COVID-19 JOURNAL, 100 cm x 90 cm, Oil and medium on Canvas
January 17, 2020, was a day of joy shared by my body, heart, brain and spirit.
In late December I moved across the hall into my new home, and almost immediately was off to Copenhagen, Denmark for Christmas and New Year’s. I returned home for 4 days before flying to Bristol, England for a business meeting, and zipped home just long enough to do laundry and return to the airport to catch a long-anticipated flight to Paris. On the flight from Paris bound for the Costa del Sol, I felt grateful, and more than ready to stop and feather my new nest. Best of all I didn’t have any travel plans, as the end of February the team was coming to me to clarify and green-light our 2020 projects, PATTERN and Quantum Frequency. Homeward bound a week later, I was clueless as to the bond I was soon to form with my new home.
Painting my dreams for weeks on end has been my salvation, thanks to Amazon delivering, and my new friend Monica keeping me in paint and medium.
