Flutterby

Before leaving the Costa del Sol on my 2019 Summer Sojourn to Iceland, Ireland, Scotland, Rome, and Stroncone, Italy, I began having a series of dreams that involved butterflies, dragonflies, and winged creatures. That summer they were joined by fairies, devas and other wee sprites I’d never given a thought to beyond the usual lore.

Flutterby was a wonderful dream, this glorious aspect of self landing beside me I was resting in the grass watching a rainstorm approach. Mesmerised watching the wings glisten and glitter in the sun, the obvious questions was, “So. Where are you heading now that you’re no longer a caterpillar?”

The replie was instant. “I’m waiting for my wings to dry so I can fly Home.”
