Falling Leaves

My 1997 book described my first and second NDEs, and in it I shared the experience of a ‘wardrobe change’. One minute I was wearing the exquisite black gown I’d worn to the New Year’s Eve Ball at the Hofburg Palace, and the next I was draped in white fabric that looked like stars and glitter sprinkled on spiderwebs, material that was floating as if held up by angel wings. I vividly remember the instant it dawned on me what I was seeing wasn’t a gown. It was me.

‘Falling Leaves’ was my first attempt to recreate that awareness, capturing the sonic essence of what I experienced then and still.
