Arcing Energy

As you might imagine, it wasn’t long before I gave up the idea of counting the number of layers or spheres in this painting! Each representing a possibility waiting to be brought to life as I imaged exploring its potential.

ARCING ENERGY turned into a space where I can add a dot of any colour whenever I find myself in a ‘kindergarten’ moment. I put a dot with judging myself, remembering the teacher who told me I was wrong and not good enough because I painted the sky purple.

When friends visit if they hint or say something similar about themselves, I hand them a stylus with a dot of paint and invite them to add it to the canvas, and co-sign it on the back!

I’ll update the painting one day, as it’s taken a turn strange enough that it hangs in my laundry room! Oh well…
